The only existing evidence of ancient American armor comes from stone carvings found in ancient temples and bits of the codecies that
survived the Spanish conquest of Mexico and Guatemala.
Piecing this information together with the help of some very knowledgeable archeologists, I have re-created what armor must have looked
like around 100 BC. This is possibly what people like Captain Moroni used in the Nephite conflicts with the Lamanites.

This is by no means a definitive analysis of weapons of the Book of Mormon. It is as accurate as can be done at this time.
Some people have felt that the serpent on the back of the card is Satanic, this is applying European thought to American folklore. In
Mayan culture the serpent is a representation of God.
